Suffolk self catering holiday cottage
Situated between the villages of Fressingfield and Cratfield, near Eye, in the heart of rural Suffolk, this 17th century timber framed cottage offers peace and tranquility in idyllic surroundings. Situated a third of a mile from the road, in the middle of fields, and with paddocks immediately around the property, there are attractive views and no noise of traffic. The accommodation is comfortably furnished with oil fired central heating, and a log fire in the sitting room.
The kitchen-dining room is fully fitted with an electric oven and microwave and overlooks the kitchen garden on one side and the pond on the other.
The bathroom with shower is on the ground floor, and there are steep narrow stairs to the first floor where there is one twin and one double bedroom.
Included in the price are bedlinen (duvets), towels, logs and power. A cot is available. There is the use of the owners washing machine in a separate utility room. There is a line for washing in the orchard.
The sitting room has an extensive library of books as well as a DVD player, freeview, CD player and HI-FI. The lawned garden is south facing with a hedge on two sides and a fenced pond on the other. There is garden furniture and a barbecue. There is ample parking.
